About Me

Hi, I’m Julia

Here are a few words that describe me: artistic, spiritual, logical, analytical, empathetic, and open-minded, with a strong desire to help others.

Do any of these characteristics resonate with you?

I have a deep love for all things artistic and creative— from design to drawing, tattoos, and crafting. I love to create and to admire others’ creations. Like art, spirituality is very important to me, and I enjoy exploring various practices, learning new ways to connect with healing and spirit. This might include meditation, sound healing, energy work, and other modalities I feel called to. I also love nature and being near any body of water, especially the ocean.

On the flip side of my whimsical, artistic personality is a highly analytical and logical thinker—someone who carefully weighs everything, observes details, and has a knack for organization.

I have a deep connection with my dog and find comfort in his presence. I love playing with him and spending time together, even when his stubbornness shines through!

What led me to create Feather’s Journey? The feather often represents strength, growth, hope, and freedom. Feather’s Journey stems from my personal experience—one that required immense strength to achieve growth and a great hope to soar freelyBut admittedly, much of my journey was traveled alone, with limited support. That experience has shaped my path and fueled my desire to help others—watching them rise and soar. I want every person to know… YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

My personal journey started in early childhood and continued to compound throughout my teenage years when I suffered unimaginable losses. Since that time, I have experience grief (in many different forms) and  learned grief doesn’t end when the services are over, or even when people say it should end. It is an ongoing lifelong process and can present in different ways throughout time;  but… I have remained committed to find healing. This has led me to a profound and deep passion for mental health awareness, grief supports, and the overall importance of human connection and compassion. This is where I’ve dedicate my coaching.

I am a supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community with an open mind and heart that believes there are no rules or restrictions on love and partnership. I believe that all people regardless of  gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, beliefs, or other, deserve to feel heard, supported, loved, and have someone in their corner working toward their growth and future.

Whatever may have called you here, let’s work toward finding your inner strength and positivity in the hopes of creating a more enjoyable and meaningful life. Tapping into my resources and passion to help spread peace and contentment in a world that presents many challenges for us to face.

“Hope is a thing with feathers.”- Emily Dickinson

I have been working very closely with Julia for about a year and my confidence was sub par at the time. Julia has helped me find real results in the most natural way. Her background and her life path seem to guide her with the most genuine intentions. She is a “straight shooter” which helped me to keep my goals in sight as well as reasonable. Thank you Julia for helping me through a few rough patches and leaving me more confident!

After a year of working with Julia, I finally had the confidence to leave my dead end job and start my own business. She coached me regularly without pulling any punches. At the end of it all, I became a noticeably new person. I have every confidence in Julia to be able to help anyone look for a complete evolution in mindset. She helped me realize my true potential, and will make you realize yours!
